Welcome to Umamy. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our application. By accessing or using Umamy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By using the Umamy application ("App", "Service"), you ("User", "you") agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Umamy. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are not prohibited from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction.
Umamy is a nutrition and wellness application providing: personalised weekly meal planning; automatic grocery list generation; body weight progress tracking and visualisation.
We reserve the right to modify, expand, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Service.

Umamy generates meal plans and nutritional suggestions based on the preferences and goals you provide. All content is provided for informational and motivational purposes only.
Umamy is not a medical application and does not provide medical advice, clinical dietary guidance, or professional health recommendations.
By using the App, you acknowledge that: food choices are your sole responsibility; Umamy does not verify your medical conditions, intolerances, or allergies; you must review all meal plan content for personally unsuitable ingredients; Umamy bears no liability for adverse health effects or allergic reactions from following App content; you should consult a qualified physician or dietitian before making significant dietary changes.
You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration; maintain and update your account information; keep your credentials confidential; and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
6.1 Plans
Umamy offers one subscription, billed over three periods: weekly, monthly, or annually. All prices are displayed and charged in US dollars (USD). Features available under each plan are described within the App at the time of purchase.
6.2 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or annually) through Creem (creem.io), our payment provider. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
6.3 Merchant of Record
Creem acts as the merchant of record for every purchase made through Umamy. This means Creem is the seller of record for the transaction: it processes the payment, issues the receipt, and collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT. Payment details are entered on Creem's own hosted checkout page — Umamy never sees, handles, or stores your card data. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Creem's terms and privacy policy, available at creem.io.
6.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6.5 Refunds
Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy available at umamy.app/refund. Approved refunds are returned through Creem to the payment method used for the purchase.
6.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
You agree not to: use the App in violation of applicable laws; attempt unauthorised access to any part of the App; reverse engineer or decompile any part of the App; use automated tools to access the App; upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content; impersonate any person or entity.
Your use of Umamy is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. You consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the personal data you provide.
All content within Umamy — including design, interface, algorithms, text, graphics, and branding — is the exclusive property of Umamy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Umamy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from: your use of or inability to use the App; any errors in meal plans or nutritional content; any health outcomes related to dietary choices made using the App; or changes to or discontinuation of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then submitted to the competent courts of Ukraine.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the Effective Date and notify you via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
